Looks a lot like Arrow's Deathstroke. Arrow has pretty much failed this city, but the early seasons with Deathstroke were great.

I approved of this villain and casting. This *should* be great and way better than BvS or Suicide Squad

Ben Affleck Won't Direct 'The Batman'
Ben Affleck has decided to step down as director of “The Batman” and remain on as a producer and star of the project.
Affleck is still on board to play the superhero, but sources close to the talent said Affleck and Warner Bros., after discussing how to best make the film possible, came to the decision together.
“There are certain characters who hold a special place in the hearts of millions,” Affleck said in a statement. “Performing this role demands focus, passion and the very best performance I can give. It has become clear that I cannot do both jobs to the level they require. Together with the studio, I have decided to find a partner in a director who will collaborate with me on this massive film. I am still in this, and we are making it, but we are currently looking for a director. I remain extremely committed to this project, and look forward to bringing this to life for fans around the world.”
Sources say this decision was solely made based on what’s best for the project and had nothing to do with the recent disappointment of Affleck’s recent directing job “Live by Night.”
Affleck and Warner Bros. will now begin searching for a new director. Sources say there is a shortlist and that “War for the Planet of the Apes” helmer Matt Reeves is among those on the list.

This is a bummer. I know they said it's not because "Live by Night", but I'm sure it is. He doesn't want to be the director of Batman if it flops.

Which, going by DC's recent record, it very well could.

I'm sure he will do fine, but I was excited to see what the director of The Town and Argo could do with a Batman movie.

Matt Reeves Out as Batman Director
Just one week after it looked like Warner Bros. had found a replacement director on Ben Affleck’s standalone The Batman, talks with filmmaker Matt Reeves have stalled out. The Cloverfield and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes director was quickly chosen as the replacement for Affleck after the film’s star decided he didn’t want to direct the movie anymore, and Reeves entered negotiations to take the helm last Friday.
Now, per THR, Reeves has exited talks with Warner Bros. The report notes that once things cool off talks could resume, but as of now Reeves is no longer looking to take the helm. It’s unclear why this stalled out, but Reeves is currently deep in post-production on the VFX-intensive War for the Planet of the Apes, so it’s possible Warner Bros. was intent on starting production on The Batman ASAP and Reeves wanted to take his time.

What a disaster. A lot of rumors that Affleck wants out entirely.
