They have to know how ridiculous these movies are and just work to one-up the previous movie's ridiculousness.

100% for sure. They don't care about what's possible or physics, they just want to make fun movies.

Universal Revs ‘Fate Of The Furious’ Spinoff For Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham

Universal is huddling on a spinoff that will focus on the characters originated by Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham and most recently seen in The Fate of the Furious, sources said. The franchise architects have said they might broaden the universe with spinoffs, and source said this is the one they are pursuing.

The idea is for Johnson’s U.S. Diplomatic Security Agent Luke Hobbs to form an unlikely alliance with Statham’s Decker Shaw for a movie that conceivably could be made while they are figuring the next Fast film.

I would obviously watch this movie. These 2 characters throwing insults at each other was a highlight of the movie.

I confessed to Jocelyn that I went to this movie alone after I got off work early. She tried making fun of me to her coworkers but they all admit they pull Pottebaums too.

There shouldn't be a stigma about going to the movies alone. The activity where you can't talk to someone should be the one you can do alone.

But how are you supposed to do the popcorn trick if you're by yourself?

Lol, that was good. I knew The Rock and Vin had some differences, but I never realized they didn't share any scenes together because of it. Both of those guys seem so likable!

Fast 9 could be delayed due to potential Hobbs Spin Off Movie.

I watched it... you bring up some extremely valid points. Why in the world are these movies making money? They are sooo far fetched now. About the only place they can do another one is in space. Dom brings street racing to Mars.

They should have ended this franchise when Paul Walker died. Just awful.
