'The Incredibles 2' Moves Up to Summer 2018; 'Toy Story 4' Pushed to 2019

I wonder what the workflow is for animators and voice talent. To some extent they could be at the same time, but animators have to be last.

Tyler wrote:Source of the post Hard to believe this movie is 13 years old. The animation dated it a little bit, but not bad.

Animation is basically the same, it's the rendering, textures and lighting that is imprved.

'Incredibles 2' Delivers Record-Shattering $180 Million Opening Weekend
Disney and Pixar's Incredibles 2 delivered a massive opening weekend debut, not only shattering the previous opening weekend record for an animated film, but finishing with one of the top ten openings of all-time for a film of any genre.

Incredibles 2 topped the previous opening weekend for an animated film set two years ago by Finding Dory with $135 million.

Excellent movie. I'm not ready to call it the best Pixar movie ever, but I enjoyed every part of the movie. Surprised by how scary some of it was.

Only complaint was it didn't have the feels like a lot of the past Pixar movies have had (Coco, Inside Out). My eyes didn't even water once!

In 2005 Pixar included the animated short "The Adventures of Mr. Incredible" as a bonus on the Incredibles DVD. It's something you have to see to believe.

It is easily going to be the #1 movie of the summer, by almost $200m.
