Utah movie theater’s liquor license threatened for showing ‘Deadpool’
http://fox13now.com/2016/04/18/utah-mov ... -deadpool/
According to a report obtained by FOX 13, two undercover investigators went to see the R-rated movie at Brewvies on Feb. 23. Brewvies shows movies and serves alcohol, but under Utah law it is not allowed to show sexual acts or full-nudity.

What a stupid law.

You are allowed one fun at a time in Utah.

Unless you are Mormon, than you can have all the fun all the time there

Their fun is depriving others of having too much fun.

Ryan Reynolds donates $5,000 to Brewvies’ ‘Deadpool’ defense

That's pretty cool.

Pretty funny that the star of a movie can poke fun at it like that.

Director of the first one, Tim Miller, is leaving the sequel becasue of creative differences with Reynolds.

I really want to like Ryan Reynolds, so I hope he's not the dick in this situation.

Agreed. And everything I've read about Miller makes me think he's a great guy too.

"According to The Wrap, the pair parted ways because Miller wanted the second film to be more stylized, while Reynolds (a producer on both films) wanted to keep the raunchy, fourth-wall-breaking comedy approach that made the first film such a success. Their conflict reportedly came to a head with the rumored casting of Kyle Chandler as Cable. Chandler was Miller’s choice, but Reynolds didn’t want him for the part, and the studio ended up siding with the star- partially because his renegotiated contract includes casting approval."
According to The Wrap.

That's pretty interesting. It's like Reynolds WANTS the film to be a success. I'd trust him, he's pretty much been deadpool for years.

If that source is correct, this Miller guy is an absolute idiot. Deadpool breaks the fourth wall in the comics all the time and it would be incredibly disappointing if it never happened in the movie.

So is this Kyle Chandler guy going to be Cable? Blue Jacket's quote makes it seem like they chose KC but then sided with Reynolds? Are they going to go with Liam Neeson like Reynolds wanted to (read that on reddit)?

I don't think any casting has been finalized

John Wick was his first movie directing (though he did share credit with someone). This guy is going places.

Why Deadpool 2 Won’t Be Bigger Than the First Film

“That’s the biggest mandate going into on the second film: to not make it bigger,” says. “We have to resist the temptation to make it bigger in scale and scope, which is normally what you do when you have a surprise hit movie… It has tonally and stylistically be as fresh and original. That’s a big challenge especially because they had ten years to gestate on the first movie and we don’t have that kind of time on the second movie.”

The article also confirms that a search is still underway for actors to play both Cable and Domino in Deadpool 2.
