Maybe once golf season starts winding down I will give this more than 30 seconds to get my picks in.

I hope not!

Rough opening for Dark Tower. I wanted to drop that early Friday morning once I started reading about how poorly it was suppose to do, but I had already shown Hayes/Wilkins my picks so I would have felt like a cheater.
I'm okay with getting 1st, but I could have gotten more points if I went with my 2nd option

I didn't want to win this week anyways!

Rough week. This upcoming week has a lot of movies I want to see! But that usually doesn't mean anything box office wise.

This week along with the next two weeks are GAWD awful for movies. Nothing really new until Sept 8th when IT comes out.

Hitman's bodyguard will be worth seeing with MoviePass, so will the jeremy renner movie. IMO

Jeremy Renner movie = Wind River. There are movies... but summer is for blockbusters. Nothing truly big until IT movie.

Yeah
Just seems like there were more true blockbusters in the Spring and coming in the end of the year with John Wick2, Logan, F8 of the Furious in Spring and Justice League and Star Wars: the Last Jedi coming in Winter. These are movies I would expect to be in summer.

Re: Fantasy Movie League
This got shot down last time it was discussed, but would you guys want to put money into next season? Tim and Kathryn are game.
$20 entry. $1(x#of people) goes to weekly winner. Remaining $7 goes to overall winner.
Could do the same thing with $15.
If only us 3 want to do it I'll think of a way where free and paid people can play together.

Get this 13 week season under your belt and then do the paid sub-league next season.Tag wrote:i am in!
I may or may not do a lot of research and excel formulas to come up with my picks. I don't expect to do as well this season because others are adopting my strategy.
