I'm curious how long the actual event took to unfold. I image the bulk of this movie will be the events leading up to it and after, a lot like Sully.

22% critics @ 4.2/10. 61% audience
"The worst film that Eastwood has ever made"

Worth noting that the 3 Americans from the real story played themselves in this movie. These 3 have never acted before...

Eastwood is famous for filming fast and using the first take. That cant pair well with brand new actors.

Corey and I saw this Friday. You can wait until the last 10 minutes of the movie before watching and you will get the jist. The main guy is so bad at acting. It's so cheesy and uncomfortable to watch. He looks dead in the eyes half the time too. Most of the story is so unnecessary and not even relevant.

For example there's a part where they meet some girl on their European trip that is from CA too. They proceed to have a bunch of scenes with her, only to never see her again. They also have parts about their childhood that basically is saying "oh they like playing war, they will be in the military some day."

One point that really turned me off was when they got to Europe, they we're flirting with the hostel front desk lady (kind of, acting was so bad you can't be sure) and she walks up a spiral staircase ahead of the guys. The camera proceeds to shoot up her skirt. Seriously?! Is that even adding to the story? Just felt gross.

So don't go see this. Even if you have MoviePass.

Brutal!

I figured they had to fill the movie with a lot of unrelated things since the event itself wasn't very long, just like the Sully movie.

Was Alex the main guy? He was on dancing with the Stars last year.

Does Corey share the same opinion as you? He said there is no such thing as a bad movie with Moviepass, but I disagreed. I value my time more than the $8 free movie if it is truly terrible.

The movie sucked but I didn't regret going to it for free. I'd watch it at some point anyways so why not in a theater?

omg i HATED this part!!!!!!!!

I agree, a lot of it was... weird. The kid stuff went on for WAYYYY TOOOOO LOOOONNNGGGGG. Bad acting all around, but it's the actual guys so kind of expected. The fight in the train was cool (maybe 2 minutes of screentime). Worth moviepass, not worth actual money for sure.

Worth a $1 rental when it comes out and just watching the last 10 minutes?

Maybe find somewhere on the internet that has the train scene and call it good.
