Ah, I have seen that movie then! Corey made me watch it in college. I wouldn't call that horror since I was able to watch it.

I'm pretty whimsy when it comes to horror movies, but a few that I've been able to (mostly) watch and like are:
What Lies Beneath- Scary mode Harrison Ford
The Shining- classic!
Halloween and Friday the 13th- I group these together since they have the same premise, but I think Freddy Krueger is scarier.

I've been clearing off my DVR a lot of horror movies on there Maria won't watch with me.
I've watched:
It Follows: thoughts in the It Follows thread
The Pyramid (2014) - a group of archeologists and a journalist crew delve into a recently discovered pyramid. It reminds me of As Above, So Below except worse. It was interesting until the monster shows up.
The Hills Have Eyes (1977) - started this last night made it about halfway before going to bed.

I've watched probably 90% of the last 50 and only about 4 of the first 50.

I've seen 38 on his list. 8 are in the top 50. 30 are in the bottom 50. I have a couple movies I don't remember if I've seen the original versions or the remakes so I didn't count them. There's a few movies I own that I haven't watched yet.

I think I've only seen 18 on that list unless I've forgotten some.

Yeah, you hit 46 and I've seen a lot of them. I didn't realize Frailty was a horror movie.

‘Get Out’ and ‘It’ make 2017 the biggest year in horror movie history

The New York Times reports that thanks to big horror hits like Get Out and It, 2017 has been the biggest box office year in history for horror movies. In all, the genre brought in $733 million in ticket sales.

Get Out and It are the two most profitable, making $175 million and $300 million respectively and since so many horror movies are released in October, the numbers are expected to rise.
