Favorite Movie Franchises

Postby Tyler » Thu Aug 02, 2018 11:30 am

What's your favorite Franchises? I don't think LotR counts, that's just a trilogy, but if you include The Hobbit and say Middle Earth franchise I would allow it, but not because of The Hobbit.

Marvel
Mission Impossible
Ernest

I would need to revisit Harry Potter before adding that to my list.
Fast and Furious gets honorable mention.

Star Wars
Harry Potter
Alien Universe - mostly because of Alien and Blade Runner
Hellraiser - terrible films but I enjoyed watching them all.

Pixar Universe - does this count?

People who say Bond, do you like ALL of them, or just the 4+ Daniel Craig ones?

A lot of Bourne. Were there 3 with Damon, 1 with Renner, and then 1 again with Damon?

Mine might be Karate Kid. I've watched them all recently thanks to the Cobra Kai recommendation here.

I watched a bunch with my grandpa, but that being said, I probably don't remember most of them.

I really enjoyed the old ones when I was a kid. I don't care so much for the Daniel Craig ones, tbh

To get technical... Ridley Scott who created the Alien universe, which is attached to Blade Runner... says there is no crossover from the Alien into the Predator world. That he plans on scrubbing that from the franchise. But who doesn't love the Alien vs Predator movies?

Are these in your priority order? How is DCEU so high?!

11. The Rock has MADE the FF franchise. Don't tell Vin that though, I don't want to hurt his feelings.

Order of remembering.... DCEU with Zach Snyder was amazing. Would have been a masterpiece had they gotten out of their own way. Warner Bros only knows how to kill Franchises.

The Rock has destroyed this franchise. The guy wasn't even supposed to be in the one where Brian dies, or goes off with Mia or whatever.
