Watched the first hour of the 90 minute documentary. Will finish tonight. I am finding it all very interesting, but tired wifey.
The guy who was in charge of it all is so sleezy. Basically been a con-man his entire young life.

I'm not saying I'm better than everyone from my generation, but the idea of Instagram "influencers" make me sad. People spent thousands of dollars because people they follow online told them to.

Finished the Hulu one. I wish it spent more time at the actual festival and how exactly it was Lord of the flies. I assume 2nd weekend was cancelled, but it never said that. Did any musicians play at all?

The creator of it all seems so sleezy. Even when he was out on bail he was doing shady (illegal) ticket schemes.

Watched the Netflix one today it answered your questions glass.

Musicians were cancelled, people were all sent home after first day but they were locked in the airport with no food or water apparently.

I felt the worst for the locals they were expecting a massive economy boost but got screwed. That poor lady spent her own life savings to pay the locals he left unpaid.

The whole time I was actually feeling bad for the guy thinking he was just in over his head, didn't realize the level of fraud he was into. And the kicker of stealing the attendees money a second time! That's one sincere ass hole.

And the company paid millions for those people to put out a single add. It's crazy the amount of weight someone who just posts pics had in marketing now

Just finished the Netflix one. Apparently JA Rule just has no consequences for all this. Seems weird since he was a "partner."

I definitely feel like the main guy is a sleeze ball, but I feel like the documentary tried to paint him in a more positive light than he deserved. A lot of the people being interviewed were his buddies and they all said how imaginative he was and that we probably haven't heard the last of him and whatnot. F that. The dude is a con man and needs to disappear forever.

Netflix one is biased because it was made by F**kJerry Media. Watched the Hulu one.

Without actually saying it this says Netflix.

Hulu- focused on outside observations and rich Millennial stereotypes

Netflix- more coverage of inner workings of planning the festival and how the failure effected locals and event goers.

Might actually be worth watching both since they do give different perspectives

I'm not hip so I didn't know of Jerry before the documentaries. Sounds like Comedy Central is tired of Jerry stealing jokes

I'm not big into Instagram at all but I have friends who have sent me funny memes from "fuckjerry" instagram account. I had no idea they were a big thing until this documentary.
