Maybe I missed an existing topic, but everyone should watch.

Sarah and I watched this last night, it's so interesting. Three guy climbing is absolutely insane and has such an unusual perspectives on death. We felt awful for his girlfriend when he said he didn't feel any reason to stop doing death wish type climbs.

As good as his story was the bits about the film crew was just as good. The fact that they could very well be filiming his death or worse that they may cause it was so crazy.

The other pro climbers all try talking him out of it while simultaneously helping him train. Saying they'd rather help him since he won't listen to them anyway.

This is out on VOD now. I just started it, but I have an urge to pause it and see it at the new imax here. Showtimes are pretty limited though

At times this guy reminds me of Nathan Fielder and that makes me lawlz

He's also so skinny ripped.

As rich as a moderate dentist, but lives in a van.

These practice cliffs seem more impressive than the California one.

Interesting he hasn't been hurt in 7 years and then started bringing his GF and got hurt quite a few times. I dont blame her inexperience, but rather he let his guard down or was showing off.

Whenever a drone shot is shown I just think of the swarm of bees sound and how awful that must be for him

It was commercial free for the US as well. Great documentary.

I know Alex is alive currently, but that didn't stop the tension.

Why did he have to start at 4am in the dark during his first attempt, but the 2nd one was morning light?

THE STORY BEHIND THE CLIMBER IN THE UNICORN SUIT
One of the climbing world's least important mysteries has been solved.

National Geographic even asked Honnold about it in his first interview after he sent. "What costume? I wasn't paying attention," he replied.

Smart man putting water up there ahead of time. I wonder when he did that...was it the day before? Days before?
