Such a shame they are losing Dan. I saw he directed the first episode of The Boys.

Mark Wahlberg Joins Tom Holland in ‘Uncharted’ Movie

Wahlberg will play Victor “Sully” Sullivan, an American treasure hunter, fortune seeker and businessman, as well as a friend, mentor and father figure of Drake.

This is fine, but does make the movie more of a "comedy action" flick I think

Wasn't that kind of implied by the casting of Tom Holland?

If this was in a magazine I would think it was an ad for a watch

I was on board for this just being a generic adventure movie, but then the airplane thing showed on the trailer and I had to shut it off lol. Unless he's Spiderman in this movie, no one is doing that jump

Disclaimer: I'll see this movie regardless.

This was okay. My problem with almost all of these adventure types movies is how I never buy the "it was hidden right here the whole time" type of stories. It's 2022 and you are telling me there are hidden temples under major roads that can be seen from the sewer and no one checked it out?! Or inside of a papa murphy's or bar. Or the lost ships easily could have been seen by air or someone would have looked in that giant cave.

The highlight of the movie for sure was the helicopter pirate ship fight. That was inventive and new, everything else felt pretty generic.
