That's an awesome time for a midnight showing, even I could handle that.

I thought it was great. We rewatched the first one right before we saw it and I'm glad we did that. RDJ did great, there were some great jokes, a couple big action scenes, just all around a great movie.

Yeah. I really liked that too. Makes all the Marvel movies a lot better with how well they are connected

I really liked the movie, but I also enjoyed reading these issues a reviewer pointed out:

So the Iron Man movies are over, but I'm guessing Stark will be a brains/behind the scenes guy in the next avengers?

Loved the humor but didn't care for how they set up the "bad guys." That article raised a good point about it, not a lot of fuel to feed the fire.

Noticed them trying to set a more serious tone, not one AC/DC track the entire film!

Thoughts on them showing a lot more of Tony Stark rather than Iron Man in this one?

Just like how in Dark Knight Rises it was 90% Bruce Wayne and 10% Batman. While I'm on the topic of comparing the two, I think Iron Man 3 might be better than Dark Knight Rises.

The scale of DNR was way to big and there were plot holes wide enough to fly a Bat Wing through, I can forgive Iron Man more easily for some things because it plays like a comedy most of the time and they have established that their world doesn't play as serious as Batman's does. (Such as aliens and people exploding).

Unrelated note: I believe Iron Man 3 is now the 2nd highest opening movie ever, Avengers still holds as number 1

maybe it will be iron man and hulk or something not just a pain iron man, because it was also really interesting that shield was only talked about once and that was tony pulled up some info from it, i say it is hard to have all these super heros around at the same time and only have them by themselves, but does help to have 40 some iron mans

I thought the same thing. Once The Avengers heard of Stark's house blowing up and him "being killed" wouldn't they all assemble and go after The Mandrid? I feel like they would be involved somehow. I figured the scene after the credits would be Bruce Banner since him and Tony had such a good relationship in The Avengers movie, but I think there should have been mention of them during the movie and why they weren't helping Tony -- now that I type this I think Don Chedle's character mentioned something when him and Tony were eating together early in the movie, but I can't remember what he said.

Why wont there be another one? I can't imagine Marvel not making Iron Man 4 with a 175 million dollar opening weekend for the 3rd.

I think if they don't it will be because RDJ doesn't want to. He is almost 50
