How is it Meg? Should I regret not buying it? Does it fit you?

Nice smart deadbolt. I'm going to hack it now

Pretty smooth! It fits just fine and I don't even have to bring the seat up all the way. Just a tad better than my police auction huffy lolz for the price it was definitely worth it

We'll see. I literally took it down the driveway and halfway down the block and turned around because of the rain. I'll take it on a longer ride and report back.

I think that's long enough to know if you like a bike or not :P

I have gone on one long ride and it worked great! Unfortunately I have not been able to get out very much on it

I'm almost certain that would have happened to me. I think I like the idea of a bike more than actually using one. Plus it's been too hot for the past month to even enjoy it.

Wags, have you been putting on as many miles as you did last summer?

Not even close. I don't think I've biked since we moved. Seems like all my free time is put into doing things around the house/yard/garden.

True. It's usually only a couple times per month but it's always right when I would otherwise be on the bike, mid-day/afternoon Saturday

After talking about getting a new bike for 5+ years I finally did it. Used some stimulus money to get the parents new bikes, a kid trailer, a rack for the car, and 2 helmet. All in it was about a little over a grand.

We did one ride today and the kids loved the trailer. Jocelyn and I enjoyed it and are looking forward to doing it more.

I have a bad habit of getting really deep into my hobbies (airsoft, PC building, VR, home networking, 3D printers are all good examples). I am going to try to keep this casual and not get too obsessed. The goal is to just have some family fun, not get so into it I ruin it for the rest of the family.

Some little things I want are a kickstand, phone holder, water bottle, maybe shorts. Hopefully keep it as simple as possible.

I'm glad I could pressure you into buying the last bikes in stock.

I may get a bike trailer since even if we don't use it this summer, we will for sure next summer with a 1 year old and a 5 year old

Lol yes. Thank you and wags for the pressure. Wags vouched for the bike brand.

Marshall will never fit in a bike trailer. Especially next year.

No off course he won't, but by next summer he will for sure be riding and we'd want to go all together. So it'd just be for the baby

I'll have to get the bikes/trailer down, maybe next weekend. Last year was the first time we took JJ out and found out that 8-10 miles is about his limit on ride length, we'll see if that's still the case this year.

I actually don't have a kickstand on my bike. Phone holder is nice if you go off your normal routes for mapping capabilities. Water bottle holder is good if you don't want to have it in a backpack. Bike shorts are a must for longer rides.
