If I recall, they also lowered their "ad-supported" subscription cost also.

I honestly watch Hulu more than netflix. Lots of good tv shows on Hulu if you don't mind watching adds.

Apple announced their Apple TV+ this morning.
They will have a Netflix like service for some kind of monthly fee and will include original content. The bigger deal is the ability to add HBO, Starz, Showtime, etc from within the app and pay for it from there. It will then put all of those shows in the main Apple TV app and you dont need to click around to the separate apps. Not having Netlix on board kind of makes it pointless though I think.

Sony to Shut Down PlayStation Vue Live-Streaming Service
PlayStation Vue, which will shut down Jan. 30, first launched in 2014 and offers 80 channels. As of May, the service had over 800,000 total subscribers. Vue was made available on PlayStation consoles but was also supported by devices outside the Sony family, including Roku players, Apple TVs and Amazon Fire TVs.

It has the worst UI of all the ones I have used. Not surprised it's going away

I know when it launched it was the only one with local channels (in certain areas) and it was pretty cheap if you got in early.

Very happy with my sideclicks, and it wasn't until I got them in the mail did I realize the pun. Sideclick. Sidechick?

The Roku model came with 5 different clip variants. I didn't realize there were so many remote designs.

You would be screwed if you bought this and didn't have a working TV remote, since the setup requires you to point the current remote at the sideclick to program it.

Worth $30. No way. That's more than my Roku. Worth $15 for a couple of rooms where I had 2 remotes? Oh yeah. I prefer this over the $10 harmonies i got last year for the lower traffic TV's.
