I did this deal. Roku came in the mail fast. Does anyone want a first gen roku stick?

This is a constant offer in their website even for current members. If you prepay 3 months you get the 2 for free or $50 off a roku 3 or fire TV.

I cancelled ours for the summer but will start back in the fall. I love sling.

Werd. I have actually been a member for a couple of months but I contacted support and they allowed me to get the Roku for free. I couldn't figure out how to do it on the site, but they handled it all for me

Yeah at least with the primary devices like roku. Might be with it of Sarah wanted to watch HGTV while I watch ESPN.

Hulu is discontinuing it's free service. I used it in college to watch Shark Tank, but haven't since. Does anyone use the non subscription Hulu?

I had assumed it was already gone.

The only difference I noticed in free and paid was paid has access to more shows. They both have/had ads.

I think there is a higher paid tier that now removes ad, it's like $13/month

I bought a cheap 40" TV last week that was on sale. Wanted to put a TV in the bedroom, but kind of forgot a TV is useless in my house without a setup box. Was going to use an old Chromecast I had laying around but that was giving me a lot of issues. Went with the Roku 2 (2015) instead. That is the 3rd one I have in the house now. Great little box for the sales price. Rumor is it that Roku is revamping their boxes in the near future and dropping the numbers, but the new ones aren't going to offer anything that could justify me waiting for one.
