Better pick up some more lessons.

Wish they said what kind of Nvidia card it was equivalent to.

Haha. It's not going to be the exact same phone (I think?), I'm sure it will be a touch screen thin flip phone

Does anyone not have Windows 10? Microsoft is making it harder and harder to avoid it.
Last week hitting the X on the update screen meant you agreed to continue, they took it even further now.

Microsoft makes blocking Windows 10 update near impossible: "the company is now going a step further and is removing the option to cancel the Windows 10 update from the dialog box prompt altogether"

My parents are because they are afraid of learning something new...and at one point they thought they needed a touch screen monitor or it turned their current one into a touch screen. They were confused. I'll have to ask them tonight if they updated to it

I don't have 10 on my work computer.

Maria's mother just got a new laptop after years of using Maria's laptop with Vista, I think. She was so confused when Maria and I were helping her with her browser problems.

Kathryn and I HATE windows 10. My faptop... errr bedroom computer that we use to watch plex has changed from 15 second bootup time to 1 minute + boot up time (used to have win7).
My gaming PC wasn't hit that hard when it ninja-upgraded, but it's a beast. (used to have 8.1)
Kathryn's saying her little laptop/tablet thing has taken a huge performance hit (i haven't done the changes that reddit says on that yet) (used to have 7)

That's interesting. I changed my Virtual Machine over to Windows 10 and noticed a performance increase.

Also calling BS that your old laptop would boot up in 15 seconds before without an SSD. Put a clean Windows 10 install on it and I bet you notice better performance.

The boot time on our laptop previously on 8.1 went down. The only problem I have ever had with 10 was trying to create a second user account on a single PC. Im not sure if that was fixed since I last tried though.

I have two user accounts on my laptop. I think I just needed Maria to enter her email account and password.

Windows 10 is the best thing I've ever used in my life and all of you should switch immediately.

But really....I like Windows 10 a lot. I know it's the "cool thing" to hate on all things Microsoft, but I like the OS and think it's neat that it was free for us all.

I like it on my desktop, but awful anywhere else. I need to set up the metro again (I actually liked the metro a lot)

Corey...are you going to correct him? You mock me every time I refer to the start screen as Metro.

Just got a text from my mom that she updated to Windows 10. She had some questions about default applications

Windows 10 upgrades will cost $119 after this Friday
https://www.engadget.com/2016/05/05/win ... r-july-29/

If you've been dragging your heels on upgrading to Windows 10, now is the time to take action. Free upgrades to the new OS from previous versions of Windows will end on July 29, Microsoft reiterated today. The company initially said the offer would only last one year, and indeed that date marks Windows 10's first anniversary. After July 29, you'll have to shell out $119 to upgrade to Windows 10 Home (or to put it on a new device).
