Haha Hayes.

Last night we hit 59 while in bed, but I wasn't cold thanks to heavy blankets. I also need a ceiling fan on year round when sleeping or I get too hot since I don't ever do the one leg in/one leg out thing

Turn on Heater or AC thread

I turned it on this morning. Upstairs was still 60+ but main floor was 59 and this weekend is going to be cold.

Now I need to do my semi-annual routine of closing all the vents on one floor and opening them on the other. My next house will be a ranch style just so the 2 floors are easier to keep the same temperature.

Yes, it's very loud. And the snow hasn't even accumulated!

Still coming down here, but it's not cold enough to really accumulate.

I don't like being on heat/cold duel mode. I usually try to stick to one or the other, but dang cold in the morning and hot at night ruins it. I would rather just be a little cold at times and stick to AC when I need it later in the day. When you do hot/cold you usually end up with a 5 degree middle temp that can vary because it wouldn't be energy smart to put AC/Heat on the same temp. One or the other would be running all day I assume.
