Turn on Heater or AC thread
Re: Turn on Heater or AC thread
"feels like 107" my app says.
I must be spoiled with my 69 degree house. My bedroom was 74 the other night and I thought it was too hot to sleep. I took the entire vent cover off to maximize airflow

We usually keep ours at 73 or 74, but I don't usually sleep with covers on when it's that warm.

I put it back on once I woke up. Would be hilarious if either of them did though.

We got a second window unit for upstairs. I'll probably put it in tomorrow.

Wow...you're choosing to make your reality more comfortable instead of having a virtual one to escape to?

Two window units. Living room set at 72-73. Bedroom set to 69 for sleeping purposes... It only gets turned on when we go to bed.
Heat is set to 67 or so during the winter.

Re: Turn on Heater or AC thread
First real cold day of the season. Rained all day and was below 50. House is 63 but didn't turn on heat.

I wore jeans to work instead of shorts today, first time in 4+ months. My legs got too cold yesterday!

Our house is around 62-64. will probably turn it on soon if it keeps up like this so the dogs don't freeze.

61.9 in the house today and still haven't turned on heat. Evie hasn't even complained.

My A/C runs year round because I enjoy being comfortable.

I assume you set it to 55 and leave it running while you are deployed.

Ours has kicked in a few times. I think I have it set to 65 or 66. We were gone this weekend and when we got back I think it was 61 in the house.

House got to 57 yesterday... finally turned on the heat because I got tired of the wife complaining about being cold. Its soooo annoying. Just turn on the heat then.
