What kind of case did you get? I haven't even gotten one yet.

I am trying out the nova launcher to see how I like that vs the stock android. I do enjoy some of the deeper customization of nova.

Just got my new skin for the Nexus 6. This goes under my clear case so that anything getting between the phone and the case doesn't scratch up the back (and it looks neat). I learned the hard way with my last phone that a case can do more damage to the phone than no case. The material is 3M vinyl and feels very high quality. https://dbrand.com/

Looks like you applied it perfectly. How difficult was that? Don't have to worry about the back of the note getting scratched do to the "leather"

It was pretty easy to apply. Just had to get a couple letters aligned.

Also they don't make them for the note 4 since the vinyl wouldn't stick to the "leather" I assume.

Has anyone tried a glass screen protector? How do those work? It's like thin sheet of adhesive that is actually glass?

I think there is adhesive around the outside and it is actually glass. If you do something to your phone that would normally break the screen, these are supposed to take the force and break instead of your screen. They also are closer to the feeling of your screen than a plastic screen protector. I haven't tried them before.

Sounds like something we should try. Wonder if they fit with cases properly?

I put the glass protectors on almost every phone I sell especially the note (very difficult to use the pen with other protectors) and they have no affect on cases. They are getting tougher to apply due to limited bezels creating no margin for error.

Still worth it and better than the film ones for sure.

Can you post a recommendation for the note?

How does the phone store work for you. Is it radio shack? They just hire you on when you can't work at the course? This is the same place as last year?

I've broken a protector rather than my screen on the s5.

I work for an authorized Verizon retailer. So just phone sales and tech support. We sell body guardz brand glass at the store and they work very well.

I was there last year and I got lucky this year and they needed full time help over the winter again. I never anticipate having the same winter job twice.

$25 on Amazon!

From what I read the "curved" screen of the Note makes it difficult for these to work as well as they should. You either get bubbles if you go full screen or it doesn't cover the entire glass.

Posting this here so I remember what brands to keep an eye on:
iLoome and a newer Spigen.

Coworker showed me his tempered glass protector on his Galaxy S5. It fits very well, didn't even notice it at first. I'll wait until they come out with a good one for the Note 4 to accommodate the curved screen.

Ordering this for now
