Literally the only reason I'm upgrading from my OG Huawei watch. I still wear it daily and it even got the new Wear OS UI update which actually greatly improved performance. This thing still lasts me all day and works well. Pretty awesome for a smarch that debuted over 3 years ago. Unfortunately this means I'm spoiled by a smarch and now no future ones will ever measure up. If the Huawei had NFC I wouldn't even need to upgrade.

That's where I'm at right now. I would love NFC but that is about the only thing I'd even notice over my 4 year old G Watch R.

I'm getting to a point where I don't even feel like charging my iWatch. Honestly hardly ever use

In the summer I was keeping track of health when running with dog but that's about it

What about general notifications? That's where I feel line is most useful. I can read an email or text/Hangouts message without pulling out phone which is nice.

I need to figure out what is wrong with my watch. I get the cloud with the line through it most days, which means it is not syncing with my phone. Not a big deal when I am at my desk at work and on hangouts, but I want calls and such to show up on it consistently, which they are not.

Mine does that too but then still gets notifications. Is that just when it's not connected to WiFi?

I'll have to be mindful of it tomorrow, it may just be when I don't have wifi.

Toggling Bluetooth off and on, then restarting the watch has fixed the issue. You were right Brad, only working while on WiFi at home and work

Yeah. What's funnier is that I bought myself the steel mesh band from fossil (the watch comes with a silicone band) last week because it was on sale and I had a discount code that expired today.

I have the Ticwatch E and I can attest to their quality. Some of the little things are cheaper out on, poor charger and it feels pretty cheap otherwise it's nice.

The Ticwatch E, S, Pro, and C2 are all Wear OS watches.

Aaaaand it is purchased. Got TicWatch Pro for $200 (+ tax) and got a free TicBand ($50 value) which is a super duper deal! I don't know what I'll do with the band. Either sell it (although it is only worth about $20 on eBay or wear it at night for sleep tracking or something.

Treat yo self! Is the Pro the one that does 30 days if only in medium smart mode?

Its the one that has a dual display which gets 30 days in that mode. I'll likely never use that mode unless I get in a pinch but I think there is a mode that utilizes it to save on battery in ambient mode so I'll mess with that.

Got my Ticwatch Pro. I'm still on the the fence with it mainly because it is 30% thicker than my G Watch R (14.6mm vs. 11.1mm). It just feels so much more massive than the G Watch R. I'll wear it for a few weeks and see if it grows on me. I'll probably also buy a Fossil Sport if those come on sale to compare. It will be nice having a watch that doesn't have black dots all over the display! I've been dealing with that issue for a couple years (which you can see in the last picture).
