The way Amazon charged the TicBand, I can return that for $37 so I am doing that. All in, the TicWatch Pro only costed $178 after tax which is a killer deal.

I caved and ended up getting a Fossil Explorist gen 4 for $192 at Target. This is way more stylish than the Ticwatch Pro. It just looks like a standard watch, which I like. I didn't like the Ticwatch Pro's LCD screen layout and found it hard to read so I turned it off (removing the one thing it had over the Fossil). The Fossil also feels way thinner (even though it is only 1.4mm thinner).

My watch is not reliable at all. Texts usually come in but hangouts don't show up a majority of the time. Maybe I need to repair or something. Should have got gen 4 fossil with you guys

Do you have "OK Google" detection enabled? I've heard people say that is a huge hit on performance.

I don't know if my gen 3 even has that actually. I've never triggered it just by talking, have to hold button.

I would assume you have it. My 3 year old Huawei Watch has it. As does my 2 year old Moto 360 Sport.

Thanks. You're right I have it and it's off. I do remember turning that off since it was going when I was talking to my phone or homes
