Crckrjack, how is the 980ti? You've had it for over a week now. I haven't touched mine other than running benchmarks.

Noticeable difference for you?

My mom gave me their old Dell Mini Inpiron netbook while I was home. It's probably 5+ years old and has XP on it. It is almost not worth keeping. I will probably download some kind of program that Evie can "play" with.

Bump since Tim is online. Does the 980ti perform better in games and in VR?

Haven't used it in VR yet. I would say it's a bit better than the 970.

I'm sure the difference is zero on the 15 year old game WoW

I think going from the 970 to 980ti is diminishing return because of my displays. Both my TV and PC monitors are 1080p. My monitor is only 60hz. My TV is 240hz, but I only get 60fps, I think because of the Steam Link.

I think the 980ti would be great for 4k gaming, but I seem to be getting around the same results. I'm okay with that though, I got a decent upgrade for basically free and will be future proof for when I do get a 4k screen.

I should plug the desktop directly into the TV and test it that way, but that is more work than simply using the Steam Link
