The app isn't great though. Already uninstalled it.

Good thing Reddit has a great platform to make fun of their own app

Nah, I'd rather get a device to track my sleep. I like the Withings Aura.

I can't tell if Google Photo face recognition is super good or bad. It picks out faces and you can add a name, when you search that name it shows all picture of that person. I applied the name "Evie" to a picture of her taken today. When I search her it shows me pictures from her birthday.

A) her face hasn't changed that much from 0-8.5 months
B) Google thinks all babies look the same
C) Google is actually getting smarter as she ages

Was talking to Itssalvo and how I feel too addicted to my phone. Without thinking about it I find myself on mindless apps wasting time when I could be doing something productive or dedicating my full time to something.

I deleted Reddit and Facebook (kept the messaging app). Those two apps can turn into huge time sucks for me. I can do the Huss Buss method and just check Facebook once a night before bed.

I should delete Reddit. I deleted Facebook (not messenger) a while ago and feel better. I always end up scrolling the same Reddit threads over and over since I check so often.

Read articles Google Now recommends for me.

Forgot Facebook pulled in all of my contact pics for those not on Google plus. Not a huge thing, just something I didn't think of

The Facebook contact picture sync hasn't worked on stock Android (some brands might have it working - Samsung, LG, HTC, etc.) Since version 4.0. LinkedIn and Twitter work I believe.

I uninstalled Facebook from my android devices mostly for performance reasons. I found my devices performed much more smoothly without the app installed, and now I use the mobile website.

I never had push notifications on for Facebook. I assume this is why you are noticing gains with the app? If so, then I won't benefit from having it uninstalled, other than I am on my phone less.

I had everything off for Facebook before I uninstalled. Still noticed about an hour of SoT gain

I don't want Emoji's, I want image and gif search! Plus my Note 4 will never get Android N, it hasn't even gotten Marshmellow.
