Talk to James, he got a long one for his 70" at Costco.

You can use my Sam's Club

not sure length matters for anything other than looks? ;)

My parents were in town today and I had my dad build us the tv riser to house the sound bar and roku so I could get my shelves back that Alex was using to raise the tv (it was being blocked by the sound bar). So we just set it up. Didn't realize he was going to build it so thick so it's a little taller than I was thinking in my head but it works haha

Very cool! I pretty much want to build that but the plan is to hang it from the wall. Did he double up plywood to get it that thick or what did he use? I actually want mine that thick but it will be too heavy to hang I think

He used 2x12 boards and then 1x4 scrap pieces for a face frame.

That makes sense. I did look into that route but I wanted 18 inches deep.

I never posted my final setup here (but I may have posted to a different thread). Would also like to see tylersux post pictures of his actual home theater. Cwilkins got a new soundbar yesterday too.

I love your tv stand, where did you get it? Also, is that a $500 curved 6.1 sound bar?

Haha. You and Tim did an excellent job on the stand. That sound bar is my crown achievement on slickdeals. Retails for 550 on Amazon. Found it on clearance for 109. Samsung hw-j6000
