Now I have both a riding mower and a push mower. Turns out I can't do the hill safely with the riding mower. I should have bought stock in Lowe's

Owned. I don't think a rider could do my hill either. What did you get for push?

Literally the cheapest one I could buy. Our hill is steep and hidden so I'm only going to mow it like once or twice a month at most. I plan on getting rid of all the grass on the lowest part of the hill and either mulching it or putting in some bushes but that won't happen for a couple years

It's cute how you say "I" for all mower and lawn related items like the lawn is your manly domain or something.

Dang.... 40 volt. My trimmer is only 20v; does the job though. If I were to get a blower I would switch to 40v for sure.

How many batteries did it come with?

Just one. I don't really plan on using the blower too much.

Other than making a cheese ball machine gun out of it, right?

bought this set the other night.

Nice Find!

I ended up getting this one: http://www.lowes.com/pd_523573-44567-LC ... d=50119781

It's worked well so far. I needed it a while back and I believe home depot started this deal (selling the Ryobi 40V trimmer with a sweeper as well) 2 weeks ago.

I feel like most of these only come with one battery. The batteries (especially the 40V) are expensive!

I got a factory refurbished Black and Decker 20v trimmer for $50 with 2 new batteries. I was okay with the 20v since it came with 2.

That's a hell of a deal. I was worried the 20V wouldn't make it all the way through trimming and sweeping so i went with the 40v. I had a 10% off coupon to Lowe's too so that helped a little.

I don't know when they started the deal but I saw it on slickdeals last week sometime.

I could buy another combo pack for about the same price as the cheapest ryobi 40v battery.

I mowed some of our hill today. The grass was almost a foot long in spots so it was brutal.

I gave up on the bottom part of the hill after I realized it would have taken me another hour. The area by the flower beds and fire pit area were by far the worst to do.

I still need to get a weed whacker. I might go look tonight for the bundles you guys mentioned.

I just bought same one. Home depot only had 18 volt combo packs here, and this was the last one in stock at Lowe's. Going to test it out this afternoon

It is sold out everywhere around Des Moines, it must have been a great price. After I mowed over the weekend I knew I should get out my corded leaf blower to clean off the sidewalk, but that is too much work with the long cord. I'm jealous of the cordless blower.
