Wow, that's really nice of them. I feel like subscription-based services' biggest money makers are people who pay but don't use. That was basically Moviepass's business model; just get a bunch of inactive subscribers.

Lol. Did you even read the title? (No one reads articles). If you DON'T respond they cancel your Netflix. So they are being extra nice instead of an email that says "reply or keep paying"

They did say non active accounts are less than 1% of their users. Certain countries sue over this, so this is working in advance. Still cool though.

Netflix makes some movies and shows free worldwide to non-subscribers

The on-demand video streaming service is currently offering select Netflix Original movies and TV shows, including “Stranger Things,” “Murder Mystery,” “Elite,” “Bird Box,” “When They See Us,” “The Two Popes,” “Our Planet” and “Grace and Frankie” to non-paying subscribers across all the nearly 200 nations and territories where it is operational.

Only first episodes of the shows are available for free viewing, though, after which Netflix prompts users to become subscribers. Movies are available in full-length, however. There is also a 30-second ad that rolls before you play the title, but it can be skipped.

Am I in the minority when I say I have seen this message only a handful of times? I think it shows up after the 3rd episode of things?
1) It is very very rare we watch 3 episodes in a row of something on Netflix
2) When we do (maybe we have with Glow in the past 5 years) we usually pause between episodes or during the show for reasons. I think this resets the timer before the message shows
