Google has a new podcast app. Finally they let you resume playback on Home by asking her to resume. I'll be testing this out. When I'm in the kitchen putting dishes away or doing something mindless I want to continue my episode without having to touch my phone.

Best Buy ones for $30. Easy to recommend at this price. Not the $25 that I paid, but totally worth it. Should be an instant buy for bmyoungs.

Here
I have 3 of these in the house and I like them more than the Mini's I have, maybe even more than the official Google Home since I don't ever use it for calling. That's the one thing these can't do.

I have the 2 best buy ones and a mini is in the mail. Haven't decided where I'll place it yet.
I have todoist set up but haven't used it yet.

Hacker!
What music service are you using with it?

Put one in the baby room to play white noise and lullabies

Erin has Spotify premium that she uses for her yoga playlists so we use that.
Probably will put the mini in our bedroom, but not sure what will get the best use.

Best Buy ones are 75% off again. I highly recommend these for $25

Wagner, did you enable the mode so it dings once it hears you? I know Corey likes to leave that off by default, but I like to know it turned on after hearing "Hey Google" before I start talking to it.

I know it lights up when it hears me but I don't think it makes a noise, but now I can't really remember.
Edit: if making a noise is the default, then I probably have it on because I haven't changed anything as far as that goes.

NOT making a noise is the default. I went out of my way for it to beep.

I prefer it on as well but it dings with every false positive from tv which was annoying

How often is that? Mine is 2 times a week max something on the TV will set it off, but we don't watch commercials so no risk of hearing a Google ad.

I blame this thread for my purchase of the $25 Insignia speaker.
