I enabled night mode. Swiping from the side makes it darker. Night mode has the Moon, stars, and weather. Swiping from the side tryna everything black other than dimly lit numbers
Did you turn led brightness to the lowest

Seeing the timer countdown is worth the price of admission alone.

Brad, on tbe baby Lenovo do you swipe from the side every night for super night mode? I do. It's part of my routine now, along with turning off the smart lamps

I like it, but wish i had to ability to just like...send a recipe to it? The whole reason I got it was to use for recipes while cooking, but its hard to find the recipes I have in yummly. Still an improvement. Being able to do Duo calls while cooking and streaming to it like a chromecast is something im looking forward to.

The countdown timer is really nice. One of the most infuriating things in the world, is I constantly am setting timers, but sometimes I say alarm. So instead of hey google set a timer for 5 minutes, ill say set an alarm for 5 min. I'll say hey google, how much left on the timer. "Actually, there is no timer" "OKAY GOOGLE HOW MUCH IS LEFT ON THE F@#$ING alarm"

So anyway, I like that a lot.
Have you seen this in Google results? Click Cook then say start cooking on your display.

I've heard Google Homes are the main reason for divorce nowadays.

I have my 2nd Nest hub coming for free from Google. We recently installed a Nest cam outdoor and subscribed to the $60/yr Nest plan and they had a promo offering free Nest hub with a year's subscription.

What is everyone's most used Google home feature? Without a doubt it's shopping lists for us. Every day we add something to the list when we notice we are out and it makes online/curbside shopping so easy. Just pull up the list and everything is there that you need. We have it integrated with Todoist vis IFTTT. I think Keep is an option again so I could switch to that, but this is working great for 2+ years.

Second is music. We play a lot of music for the kids.

This is sad, but one of Oliver's first words is "googa" because of how often we talk to our Google's.

Marshall loves setting timers, so we use them all the time. Otherwise using it to turn the TV on or off

Music/podcast listening is very common. JJ still loves doing "animals" which is just saying "Hey Google, what does a [insert animal here] say?" so we do that often. Also we use timers for when JJ needs a timeout.

When we first set up Todoist with IFTTT, we used the shopping list, but we haven't really used that feature in a long time. Should start doing it again when random things come up that we need that I will certainly forget about later.

Yes. Start using shopping lists again. Life changer for us.

Evie use to ask Goole to tell her a bedtime story. She would do that for nearly an hour some nights.

Good call on turning TV off. Use that daily upstairs
