Say "Okay, Google" when your screen is off. Google is always listening!

Did your note 4 not do this?

Only if the screen was on. iPhones only do Siri with screen on or charging...I think.

I just have to be sure to use "Hey Google" when I want Home to respond and not my phone.

I'd probably get a different color if I did it over. I played around with every color combination and forgot what was actually in my cart when I ordered it.

Hardest part was corners and the G. The G comes in 4 pieces for each color so it's tough to get them into place.

For $5 it was totally worth it though.

Looks cool. You're right, a different color would pop more. Is it going to fit in your clear case? I imagine it doesn't add that much thickness

It does fit. It's a bit tight. I took it out to get a good pic of it and I'm not sure if I will put it back in.

New Android update. Wilkins's Nexus now gets the same OS as Pixel.

Pixel gets this:
Update: In Android 7.1.1 Pixel devices also basically see the return of the "Ambient Display" feature that was present in Nexus devices. This is a dark version of the lock screen that occasionally fades in while the phone is idle. On the Pixel this comes in the form of two new "moves" in the settings: Double tap to start Ambient Display and lift to start Ambient Display.

Updates should start rolling out to devices today, although Google's update system can take a full month to reach everyone.

I'm hoping it comes quick. It also fixes a Bluetooth issue with cars that I have been having. I'm tempted to side load it, but I've never done it. I'll give it a couple days.

Installed already. It's nice having quick updates.

Tap to wake and lift to wake are neat

Woo. And people said Verizon would be late with updates. I am installing it now

I just hope it keeps this pace. I was burned with my last two phones never getting updates. (The turbo just got 6.0 today)

Lesson learned from putting on a skin. Make sure everything is lined up absolutely perfectly. Has to remove it because it was covering an extremely tiny portion of the auto focus making videos impossible to take.

I thought the kickstand thing was dumb, but I found myself using it. Tylersucks bails on me during lunch once a week, on that day I usually watch Plex while eating and the kickstand comes in handy. I don't even notice this screen is drastically smaller than the Note while watching media.

Google's autocorrect and predictive text seems worse than on my last phone. Maybe it's just with swipe typing.

I thought Samsung's keyboard was better at that stuff than the Google keyboard, but I kept the Google keyboard on anyways with my Samsung.

Well now that we have the option for gifs in the keyboard I can't choose anything else
