Android Users Can Now Stop Facebook From Tracking Their Location
Just as a reminder, iOS already has an inbuilt ability for users to choose from three options for location sharing: always, while using the app, or never. Hence, there isn’t a need for an update.

TLDR - Instagram wasn't hacked, but it was storing passwords insecurely. Facebook waited until the world was busy with the Mueller report to quietly announce this information.

Facebook removed from S&P list of ethical companies after data scandals
This list is laughable anyways. BP, Comcast, and Bank of America are still on it.
