Exercise equipment and working out

Im down to 240lbs by simply working more and forgetting to eat lunch. My strategy has been make lunch at home, then forget it, and since my summer goal is not to eat from our restaurant this summer I just don't eat.

Sounds very healthy and the best way to lose weight. I'm sure HussBuss would approve

I'm ready to start this pull up program. I realize I read this chart wrong originally. I thought each day you were ramping it up, but it's actually based on weeks.

The plan is to follow this for both pull-ups and chin-ups, I'll do this every day Every other day I'll do my more extended workout.

I have been slacking big time on pullups/working out. When it's 90 degrees outside the inside of my garage is 100+. I don't want to come home and do that.

I still walk with Evie as much as we can. Usually on the weekends we do a couple long ones and a few evenings a week.

I have been really slacking going to the gym since moving into the new house. Seems like I always have something better to do around the house. I have still been using the gym at work during breaks but I don't get cardio from that since I don't want to get really sweaty.

Day 3 of wedding work outs and I skipped so I'm off to a good start. It was arm day and honestly arm day really bores me. This means I'll have to do arms and cardio tomorrow which seems worth it right now but I know I will regret it then.

You mean we could have been playing VR sooner?!

Guys hate leg day and would rather do arm. Are girls the opposite?
What program are you doing?

Idk I think I hate it because I'm not as successful completing a lift or arm exercise as I am doing squats for example. Arms get really boring when you can't even do a quarter push up. I know that if I would do arm day I would improve but it's hard to start when you know you'll fail. You know?
I'm doing a program called Sweat. It's a 12 week program and I've gotten to week 5 before but never past that. They are cycle work outs that focus on toning and strength (as opposed to getting swol). For example leg day this week was four 7 minute cycles in and ABAB format. A was 15 squats, 24 weighted static lunges, 24 knee ups, and 50 jump rope skips continually for 7 minutes. B was 24 walking lunges, 15 sumo squats, 24 step ups, and 50 mountain climbers continually for 7 minutes. Repeat A then B. (Also this was beginner week 1 out of 4 before the actual 12 weeks start). It's pretty hard and I hurt a lot. I got asked what was wrong with my by everyone I walked passed at work today haha
Anyway the schedule is legs, cardio, arms, cardio, full body, cardio, stretch. Cardio is either LISS for 45 minutes or a HIIT workout.

Sorry. Arms and abs are combined in one workout. Full body does legs, arms, and abs.

You guys have a bike in your home gym/dining room? I was curious if you were using the rack there, but I guess not if you're wanting tone

This is a common misconception that women have about lifting weights. Just because you are working your muscles with resistance does not mean you'll start looking "swole" like a bodybuilder.

The truth is, your form of exercise alone will not do enough to dramatically affect your muscle growth. It takes a significant change in diet to build muscle to the size that most would consider bodybuilder-esque.

It sucks because if more women would see past this myth they could be more efficient in the gym. Resistance training gives you so much more than cardio alone.
