Still no word on what the message will be or how it will help?

I imagine that each site will display their own message unless the movement/day comes up with a "slogan"

Facebook and Google say they are joining the massive net neutrality day of action on July 12

Twitter, Reddit, Netflix, Amazon, Kickstarter, Etsy, Vimeo, Private Internet Access, Mozilla, OK Cupid, Imgur, PornHub, Medium, and hundreds of other major sites are also participating.

Interesting to see what some sites are doing today. Glad to see this one is included in that.

https://www.reddit.com/r/technology/
https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/ (same popup as CPT)

I checked Amazon, Twitter, Netflix, Kickstarter, Reddit, and Etsy - didn't notice anything different.

Sorry for the daily popups. I didn't realize the code I added was going to do that. I might look into taking it out if I can remember how I added it and if it annoys me enough.

Just read an article about how Comcast is hinting potential future paid fast lanes. The article is based on a statement release by Comcast. It's a bit of a stretch at this point, being that their statement didn't explicitly say anything about paid fast lanes, but still interesting to read. https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/201 ... fast-lanes

But they promised on Twitter they wouldn't do that!

I think I fixed it. I removed the code after we failed but it was still stuck around. I cleared the cache of the forum and it seems to be gone now.

They really look on the bright side at the end of the article
However, even if the necessary 51 Senate votes are secured, the bill is unlikely to pass the Republican-majority House or be signed by President Donald Trump.

Yeah, its not overly optimistic, but at least this way, it makes a lot of people targets to vote out of office.
