Why I need a jigsaw. I want to cutout doors so unlocking the lock will actually open a door.

Picture this, but with doors that open.

Honest to god, that would probably entertain me for a while, with a few adjustments.

I get why people build these... tons of fun for young ones. But aren't you afraid that if you put locks and bolts up there, she will know how to use them... so if she sees something in the backyard or the house... she can figure it out, then excape into the night to join the circus?

Nah. We use a wireless fence collar on her in the yard, we don't have a fence.

Progress pics. I was able to cut out the doors without drilling a hole for the jigsaw to start in. #pro They aren't very square, but Evie wont mind.

When we went shopping for the bolts and locks, Evie was having so much fun walking down the aisles and playing with the ones on display. Proof of concept

Upside down view. Doors attached and playing around with latch placement.

Thanks! I thought it would be cooler to have the locks open something. I'm attaching sandwich Rubbermaid containers behind the doors so we can hide things in there

bmyoungs, I noticed you have one in your TV pick. Did you build it yourself? Let's see it!

Good, if you made it and didn't show us I would have been offended. I still want to see it! Looks like he packed more stuff onto it than we did ours.

Why is Sarah's step-dad stalking my Facebook?! Or is he a CPT lurker?
