Question of the Day

Postby CrckrJack » Mon Aug 14, 2017 9:44 am

Oh my god there are so many different categories for candy.

Sitting at home and want a box to much on? Lemonheads or Zours
In a car? Laffy Taffy Strawberry
Chocolate? Reese's Peanut Butter Cups
Want a huge bag at home to eat over a month? Starbursts
At the gas station and you see the peanut butter bar things? you bet your ass i'm getting one.
Want to go out and get a treat? Ice cream.

Never been a big fan of Mike & Ikes. I always like Reese's Pieces as my movie theater candy, but normally I just get popcorn.

I agree but not all theaters have them. Reese's Pieces seem to be pretty universally available at movie theaters.

I usually do. I brought in a big bag of sour gummy worms to the spooky movie last week. Still bought popcorn though.

First video game you remember playing: Super Mario Bros on NES. Legend of Zelda is the first game I fell in love with.

It was either boxing on Atari. Mario on NES. Or track and field with the floor pad on NES. All right around the same time.

Maybe this?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ayrton_Se ... naco_GP_II

Played it on game gear while I still lived in St. Louis. I remember you used to be able to rent game gear games at the video store and we did that often.

I also remember playing Sonic the Hedgehog on the Sega Genesis with my dad around the same time. Must have been '93 or so?

Being a tech nerd in general. Jocelyn doesn't understand why I NEED a 3rd Oculus Rift sensor mounted to the wall, or why I insisted to replace our working router with a $20 desktop I bought. Good thing she doesn't know about the 8TB hard drive I bought a few months ago.

Occasionally she gets it to. She questioned why I used birthday money from her parents to buy dual monitors for the desktop when I don't even work from that computer. She enjoys it when she plays Sims though.

Parents: you're computer is worth $X,XXX?!? How? Why?
