Plain tortilla chips and Pace hot picante sauce.

OR....potato chips and some sort of sour cream dip. I'm not picky.

I prefer any kind of hickory bbq chip as my favorite. If i have to choose a dip and chip, it would be tortillas and guac. As much guac as humanly possible.

Cantina FTW. Guac is probably my top. No brand loyalty for salsa

Most hated fictional character: I said Lord Farquaad from Shrek as a joke. I'd have to seriously think of someone I truly hate that isn't a obvious character from like GoT

I don't remember ever specifically loving him, but I don't think I had a huge problem with him as a kid. If I remember right, I even had a folder with Jar Jar on it.

Rewatching Episode 1 as an adult though, he's horrible.

I couldn't think of any good ones so I googled. So many people hate Scrappy Doo and Duck Hunt Dog.

Other ones that kept showing up
Jar Jar Binks
Joffrey
Dolores Umbridge – Harry Potter (i dont remember the movies enough I guess)
Bella Swan and Edward Cullen - Twilight

Question of the Day

Postby DannyFanny » Fri Nov 03, 2017 9:34 am

QotD: Small world experiences. Such as seeing someone you know in a random city across the country (Teddy and crew in Vegas) or finding out someone you just met grew up/lived near you.

Obviously the Teddy one in my example. Other notable one for me. I was at a Walmart in Las Vegas with my family. I was buying some booze and the lady at the register noted I was from Iowa, and she had family in Iowa. She then asked if we knew/heard of Lone Tree, Iowa. Now Lone Tree is a small town near Iowa City. It has a population of less than 1500. I tell her I also have family from Lone Tree. So this random lady 1500 miles away from where I live and I both have family in this small town no one knows about in Iowa.

Seeing those guys in Vegas was pretty random. I also saw a coworker in Chicago when we were there for Glass/Corey's bachelor party. He was walking out of the restaurant as we were walking in.

Another one that's a bit less of a connection but still kind of counts was when we were in Germany. We went to a bar in Cologne one night and a couple sat next to us. The guy was from Munich and the girl was from a town in Switzerland. We mentioned a little town in Wisconsin with good brewery that they call "little Switzerland" and she knew we were talking about New Glarus. She had been there and had actually studied at the college in Lacrosse, WI.

That's the brewery that makes Spotted Cow, right?

Socks or no socks in bed?
I just wear boxers, but wearing shorts/t-shirt wouldn't bother me. Having socks on my feet at night drive me crazy. Somehow rises the body temperature by 40 degrees.

Evie NEEDS socks on at night. If she doesn't have them on during storytime she will ask for them. She's even fallen asleep without them and woke up in the middle of the night to ask for socks. If one falls off the first thing she asks in the morning is where her sock went
