I've always had a clock next to my bed. I use my phone for my alarm, but I like being able to easily see what time it is. Jocelyn never has had one on her side and that seems crazy to me.

Also have a lamp, which never gets turned on, and my watch charging.

Question of the Day

Lamp, picture of my girlfriend and myself, kleenex, and hand lotion.
At night my phone, necklace, and chapstick go on the night stand too.

Clock is on my gf's side. I would have to turn the clock against the wall so the light wouldn't bother me while falling asleep. Kind of pointless to have a clock at that point. Cellphone is my alarm clock.

Is your bedside table between you? Why are there her books on your side?!

The bedside table is on her side. I don't really have one on mine. I do have my dresser that has random shit on it, but that's too tall to really be considered a bedside table.

Our room is too small! There's not room for an additional matching bedside table because they're too wide. I would need to get rid of the dresser or have it in a spot that would be very annoying.

What's a small, innocuous thing you do every day that bares little to no impact whether or not you do it?

Two that come to my mind. I always smell my deodorant before applying it. I always shake certain foods before opening/using them things like milk, salsa, hot sauce, stuff of that nature.

That's a good one. Have you ever not applied it because the smell was off?

Where do I start? My job. My life

JK JK. (or am I?! so edgy)

Nothing is really coming to mind. I think I've said before in this thread I always dry my feet off in the shower before stepping on the shower mat. To me that has a huge impact because I don't want a wet floor mat! But most people would argue that is literally the purpose of the mat.

No. I don't have a real reason for why I do this. I like the smell of my deodorant. Your brain starts to ignore a constant scent as the day goes on, so taking a second to smell it before applying it gives me a chance to acknowledge it.

I do this too but I would argue it makes a difference. Maybe not for milk, but most salsa says on the jar to shake before use since the chunks can settle. I feel like hot sauces can benefit from it too but that could just be in my head. Ketchup and mustard are musts to shake since they always get that watery separation after sitting a while.

Do you wash your legs when you shower? I guess this is a favorite internet question.

Yes I do. I use a loofah and have a muscle memory routine. Left armpit 2 times, right armpit 2 times, chest, stomach, lift and wash left leg, lift and wash right leg, front privates, butt.

Do people not wash their legs? That's weird

Yes and I generally use a wash cloth. I think the same basic order Tyler has listed.
