Used from Craigslist. New equivalent is $899. 8 horsepower, 26" wide (thus the model). Plastic doesn't rust!

Re: RE: Snow Blowers
I'd wait and get a used one in the summer or fall. Check out http://www.snowblowerforum.com/#/ before you buy anything. When I was doing my research it seemed like Toro, Simplicity, Honda, and Ariens were the best and would last the longest.Tyler wrote:For you guys up north. Pretty good deal

MTD is a manufacturer that makes snowblowers for several brands and they are considered shit and this is one of those brands.

I have certainly convinced myself to buy a snowblower. My plan has been to get one for cheap after the snow season, but that hasn't ended yet.

Used or new? How cheap do the big box stores even mark them down? 20% max?wags83 wrote:I have certainly convinced myself to buy a snowblower. My plan has been to get one for cheap after the snow season, but that hasn't ended yet.

I was at Menards yesterday and I didn't even see any in the store, so I'm not sure. I was hoping to find a used one.
