Snow Blowers

I've been scouring Craigslist for a snow blower for the winter as our driveway is pretty long and I hate shoveling. Our driveway is also at the end of its life so shoveling would pick up a ton of rocks.

Who has a snow blower? Any recommendations? There are a lot of decent ones that come up on Craigslist in the $300-$400 range which I think would be my max so I can't afford anything new.

I don't even own a snow shovel yet!
Erin loves shoveling so we don't need a snow blower according to her.

I thought you were joking when you said that last time...

She legitimately told me she likes shoveling when I brought it up to her that we should look for a snow blower. I hate shoveling. Since I do all the other yard work, I think it's fair that she shovels and I don't have to.

Shoveling is so much more work than mowing, even though mowing is more often. You lucked out.

Salvo bought one from McNards last year, not sure if he used it.

I own a bad shovel. If we ever got 10"+ of snow I would pay a neighbor with a blower to do it.

I am messaging this dude for this one. 9hp and 28" clearing is a beast. I would say the standard ones I've seen are 5-6hp and 24-26".

Looks like a steal!

If we really had a bad storm chances are Jocelyn wouldn't have school and I could work from home. It wouldnt be fun to have a job where you had to to in regardless and forced to blow/shovel before you could leave.

I used it. We also got maybe like 3 inches ok for snow last season, so I have no idea if it really performs well. But so far, I love it.

I'll have to look on Craigslist for one this year. I don't mind shoveling but we had 4 storms over 18 inches last year and that was not fun

Buy a skid loader and do a side business since you have the winter off. Like for real, that's a decent idea.

Way too many people do that in Maine. Not worth it.
