Does anyone have one? Brother and sister in law got one and they love it. Replaces a rice cooker, crock pot, steamer, pressure cooker, etc

Never heard of it, but the only thing I have out of what you listed is a crock pot.

Suppose to cook things in like 1/3rd the time. Doesn't dry out dishes like a crockpot sometimes does. Get it for Erin, she likes cooking.

In laws got a cookbook with it and everything looked so good and easy.

We have one it's very nice. We haven't used it as much as we should. Got rid of all other things you noted though when we bought this

I've been thinking about buying one but not sure how much I'd need this vs other tools we already own. I guess I could just donate one of the crockpots to make room for this gadget

I got Jocelyn the 6qt one for Christmas. 9-in-1. She's used it 3 times already. Everything she has made has been delicious.

Maybe she will post the recipes here.....

Ooh you’re selling me on it! My favorite food blogger, pinchofyum.com has done a lot of recipes in the instant pot. Which brand did you get? Haven’t looked into reviews yet to compare.

Got the name brand Instant Pot. I'm all about over paying 3 days before Christmas instead of getting a Slick Deal.

In laws got the wife and I one. Haven't used it yet. I want to use it this weekend for some white chicken chili.

Now what do I do with my rice cooker and crock-pot?

Goodwill?
My wife made the point she wants to keep her 6-qt crockpot still. You're not going to want to haul the instant pot to a potlock or to family members if you cook a dish.

Jocelyn did a pad Thai dish last night and it is my favorite meal so far from the pot.

Jocelyn gave me instructions and I made burrito bowls last night. It's magic. Drop in chicken pieces, corn, beans, uncooked rice, etc. Comes out perfect in 20 minutes.

J-Lo and A-Rod have an instant pot meal kit at Walmart. A number of different options. Dropping eaves on coworkers right now who are talking about it.

I made some pulled pork in ours last night that was pretty good. I also made some orange chicken that was yummy as well. We haven't used ours for a while as the seal was being finicky but we got a replacement seal and it is good as new.

You're so handy! We had rice get stuck in the release valve before, but I was able to fix that. It caused some major issues though.

I made chilli in ours last weekend. I'm sure we will have to replace the seal soon.

At least when you replace it you usually get two or three in the package and can have a dedicated chili one (or other smelly foods) so the taste doesn't get into a cheesecake or something else you make in it.
