Who takes 'em? Thoughts on them?

Almost never for me, not even in college. I'll take like 3 naps a year if I am feeling really really tired, but I usually wake up feeling more groggy. I would rather push through and get a second wind and just go to bed a little earlier.

When you have a new kid it is common advice to nap whenever the baby does because you can never count on a full night's sleep, but I would always use the baby's nap time to get something done around the house.

I have taken more the older I've gotten. I notice if I go over 20 min, I am more groggy. I typically do a short nap. Its worse when I've been drinking during the day.

I only do if I'm super tired and haven't had enough sleep. I used to love naps but now it always seems like there's something to get done and that makes it hard to nap.

Like the rest of you, I almost never nap. I have to be really tired or sick to take a nap. They usually don't last more than 15 to 20 minutes.

Maria on the other hand always naps. They are long ranging from two to four hours.

Kathryn sometimes takes super long naps also after her work days. about 1-2 hours. she has a 45 minute commute though so i don't blame her.

Do naps have to be intentional? What about Corey falling asleep in his recliner every evening?

Jocelyn is a pretty good napper too. She can sync it up with Evie over the weekend and I can get a day where I have 2 hours to get house or yard work done.

If that counts then Erin naps every time we watch TV or a movie together.

I occasionally take a nap when my work schedule is really fucked. I think I did one stretch this summer if 4 straight 14 hour days. I needed a nap after that crap

I typically get up at 4:30 for work and get done early afternoon. It is pretty common for me to fall asleep shortly after getting home.

That is pretty rough! And that is real work, not IT work

You beat me by 55 minutes, but same thing applies, your work is probably more taxing than mine

Oh, your girl can nap.
I'm not even certain that I really need one, but I like to relax/lay down when Evie is asleep, and that often leads to falling asleep.

I'm really good at falling asleep early while watching a show or movie, but afternoon naps are rare. I also have to be very tired to actually fall asleep. Most times when I try I just end up laying there then get up because there's something to do.

I at least use the weekend to catch up a little bit. Hussbuss probably gets up even earlier on the weekends.

My wife is the queen of naps. She takes a nap probably 4-5 times a week. They are anywhere between 1-5 hours long... some times longer. I'm sure depression doesn't help but I think she just loves sleeping lol.

I will nap on the occasion. Usually when i'm feeling very tired in the middle of the day, but if I sleep more than an hour I usually wake up groggy.
