Verizon would need to offer a trade in deal that cancelled out what I still owe on current Pixel (46%..whatever that is) AND offer the payment plan for -$20 a month like they did last year. I could get one of those things, but no way both.

Lol that's exactly the deal I want. Or if the pixel XL 2 was cheap enough I'd consider getting it and selling my pixel online

I wish there was a website that ONLY showed online deals. I'm not going to any stores this year.
I think we decided on getting a TV sound bar and wall mount. Getting everything from Amazon though since we have around $500 in Amazon gift cards from credit card rewards.

If Verizon has a similar deal on the new pixel I would consider it loosely. Should just wait another year though

Did you find a good deal on a sound bar? I'd like one for upstairs sometime

No not even sure I'll get one right away. I'm just going to see what happens on Black Friday/cyber Monday on Amazon.

Bought a TV today at Target. On my way to exchange it because it has a broken screen

Good idea buying it now and not messing with the BF mess. How was the price compared to next week?

Noticed on the way home that the lady who processed the return refunded an extra $50 back to my card. Super slick deal now

Yes the 43" version. The spot we are putting it is ideal for 43"

I'll post a before and after pic. I'm also going to be wall mounting it after we paint the living room.

Looks like it's going to be a tight fit between the windows, but I'm sure that's because it is closer to the camera than the wall. Are you going to move an outlet behind the TV? Corey can confirm that is pretty easy as long as there is an outlet immediately below where you want the new one.

Is that your new soundbar in the pic too? How do you like that?

Is this your primary TV?

Primary tv, sound bar is exactly what we wanted, more consistent sound, don't watch a lot of movies so didn't need anything fancy.

Now you have me thinking about getting rid of the stand after mounting and just have the tv sound bar and antenna all mounted. I might just do that.

Basement is already wired for surround sound so if we want an entertainment area that's it.

I can recommend the below for mounting the sound bar so you don't need to drill extra holes in the wall:

I think whenever you wall mount a TV you should do everything you can to get things off the floor, otherwise what is the point?

Corey, that is a pretty slick option. So you had to take your TV off the wall and redo the brackets for that?
