Some have more strings attached to those trials than others, but you usually end up getting most of your money back. So you don't have to worry about going "all in." Consumer reports has a lot of good information about mattress buying. Let me know if you're interested in that and I can send you some.
What's it say about Zinus on there? Just curious.

I don't see any ratings for Zinus mattresses. I guess they haven't tested them.

I've had the Zinus for two years now and I have no complaints. I've never had an expensive mattress though so I don't know what I'm missing. I have multiple family members who've bought one as well and they like them. These are so much cheaper than the other options so I'd recommend starting there and if you like it you've saved a ton of money.

The Zinus is rather firm though which was a change for us but we got used to it and like it now.

What Zinus model do you have? I see the Zinus site offers the same pricing as Amazon so it I were to get one i would order from them since it would be easier to return/refund.

Ejhartman is probably right though. Dont get a "cheap" mattress, but it seems Zinus might be good enough.

After over 5 years our tempurpedic feels like new still. Can't say I've ever had an uncomfortable night on it. No more sleep caused back pains and far less tossing and turning than previous mattresses.

It's also firm enough for any activities you may want to do in a bed.

Cost is high but I can't imagine anything being better.

Jocelyn doesn't know it, but I got Evie the green tea Zinus. I couldn't decide between that and their other model. Got the basic frame as well.

I was gung-ho on getting us a King ordered before moving next week but it's not going to happen. I'll set up Evie's bed and order one for ourselves later if we like it.

I plan on opening the twin at our current house and then move it after it's expanded. Will make it harder to move, but wouldn't be too bad. I just want to make sure it's ready to sleep on by the time it's in the new house.
