My downstairs one would get stuck on the coffee table and end table floor beams. I slid some composite shims under the feet. I hope it can't get up onto it now. Before it could get up but not back down.

Does anyone else clip their nails on the floor and then use the remote on the robot to suck them up?

I ended up ordering 2 of these today....

I am treating these vacuums as 18-24 month disposable items basically. I am down to one at my house and it is been struggling. Getting these mostly for the price not for the specs.

I'm still holding out to get one that has mapping. Been looking at the Roborock S4

This one has mapping, but I heard it sucks so I am not going to be sad when it turns out I bought another random bump and suck vacuum. Corey got a nice one with mapping and it looks really fancy.

Got my new ones yesterday. Physically they seem larger than my old ones (which I already can't remember the brand. ilife?). The mapping feature isn't full blown mapping to remember rooms/zones, but it is useful. It basically makes sure the bot doesn't back track and does straight lines instead of random paths. The app then shows the areas that were hit or skipped, but I don't think the path matters for next time the robot goes. Fresh map every time. I'm happy with this feature for $100.

As for the performance. Battery doesn't seem as good, but hope a few charge cycles fix that. It is picking up way more stuff than my old ones for sure. I think these things just gradually lose auction and power over time.

Rumor has it Wags bought his first vacuum. Report back in a few days/weeks if it is life changing or not. Nothing better in life than emptying the canister every day and seeing how much dog hair it collected. You are spoiled if this is your first $100 vacuum. This seems way nicer than my other 2 models in a lot of ways.

Have you figured out how to turn off the voice? I haven't spent much time looking into it, but I should. It scares me every time it turns on or moves.

It's running through the whole main floor right now for the first time. Will be nice to not have AS much dog hair. Fran has started her yearly shedding and it's been bad lately. I haven't really messed with it too much as far as turning on/off other functions. Just plugged it in and told it to smart clean.

I'll have to get a new robot. I gave up on ours with it being random and just got a nice cordless one. Being quarantined it's easy enough to just run around the house a few times a week and get the dog hair

It's nice that it fits under the couches where we don't often (never) clean. It somehow lost it's way halfway through the "smart cleaning" cycle, so the mapping was all goofed up and it started going places it had already been. I'll keep an eye on that to see if it keeps doing that.

The fact that this one does any kind of smart cleaning is nice. My old ones would just go randomly all over and triple clean some spots and miss others.

Set up the app so you can have more scheduling options.

One of my 2 new ones sucks. Gets stuck right away, goes back to the dock randomly, only runs for a few minutes. Might be returning it.

Wagner, how long does yours run when it's working well?

It goes for a long time. Did pretty much the whole main floor yesterday before going back to the dock. Took most of the battery to do it.

Best run yet for the basement. Long time and a lot of square foot covered.

For those that know my house, lower right is the toyroom,
Part missed right by the robot is the bar and barstools. Image
