Use Q-tips in your ears. I do it even though the manufacturers and doctors say do it.

The only reason I have q-tips in my house is for cleaning out my ears.

It feels so good! The Adam Ruins Everything episode about it made me stop for a week, then I was using the only to dry the bigger opening after shower, now I'm back to shoving it to my brain. I'll stop and just have Jocelyn clean them out with her finger nail, it's her favorite thing.

Another one:

I read before that you're not supposed to cook things on/in aluminum foil because the metal can be absorbed by the food at higher temps. I still use it all the time.

Woah, that's a new one to me. We use it when we want to make cleanup easier.
Aka what I thought its purpose was

But like I can cut up aluminum foil and put into my food right?

I looked it up again today, and I saw an article that said most scientists say the amount of aluminum that is absorbed isn't harmful to your health. So it's probably fine.

I can't imagine why not.

More:

last thing I do before bed is look at phone. That doesn't help falling asleep!

Jaywalking, but that doesn't count.

BYOS (bring your own soda) into movies.

What about things you don't do (as often) but know you should.

Drink more water. I've completely cut soda out from my house, but I'll still get one at restaurants or movies. At home I drink a lot of G2, but not enough water.

Flossing comes to mind for me as well. Though, I've gotten better about the last couple years.

Things I do but shouldn't:
Distracted driving: Usually involving phone or ipod. I've gotten much better at putting on a podcast playlist or an album. Set it and forget it
Phone before bed: though I just checked my social medias, I still do it after I lie down at night.

Things I should do more:
Work out: even for 15-30 minutes a day
Read: even for 10-20 minutes a day

Eat frozen meals.
I'm a lot better about it though now. I'll do at most one a week vs hot pockets every single day during college.
