More thinking ...so different kind of fun. I really enjoy Tokyo and miss the "simpler" set up of it. I feel like the three games we played utilized the three draw cards less. We didn't get cards that were anywhere near as beneficial as the ones in Tokyo, I'm not sure if that's by design or rotten luck. Also, the skull logo on the dice was hardly ever rolled.

The three games we played went by relatively fast too so, like I said, victory points may be too influential on gameplay

No but really I do like LotR just wouldn't be into a card game about it.

Guys if you like pandemic buy pandemic legacy. It is absolutely fantastic. We played two months last night and can already see the game changing quite a bit from plain pandemic.

Yeah nothing is poop themed. We have already shredded a couple cards though. It's really a 1 time play game, but once we've gone through the story it will be a regular copy of pandemic. A lot of stickers will be on the board though.

That's really cool. Is Risk the first game to do the Legacy edition. I know risk has a card in it that tells you not to ever open. Does yours have that?

Not that I'm aware of. There are 8 packages that you can't open until told to do so, 1 of which can only be opened if you lost for times in a row. You really can't see anything that's going to happen and it would actually take effort to spoil the game. The rule book intentionally leaves blank spots where you will add a new rule when prompted.

I finally unpacked all my games and comics after living in this house for 11 months. Was always a pain digging through boxes when we wanted to play something.

It took us 7 months of playing once every week or two, and we played about 16-18 rounds. We lost a couple months twice but we never lost more than twice in a row.

If you have at least 3 people who would be able to dedicate once a week it's worth going for it.

Unless Evie can count as a person there's no way we could be consistent enough to play. We can't even get our butts out of the house for trivia anymore.
