Noticed Evie's flowers were gone. Reviewed the footage and found this after looking for 5 minutes.

Damn bunnies. They destroyed a lot of our garden last year.

I had to power cycle the camera that is locked inside of the outdoor outlet box. I decided to move it and roll the dice since it's a v1. No enclosure, no mount. It's just shoved in

I am also going to move the backyard one. I have a 20ft USB cable coming in the mail today. I don't think I'll get it moved tho because of the rain.

Rain let up so I went out to move it. Got about 75% done and said screw it, I didn't want to get 25 feet up in the air with the ladder, on an uneven hill, on the wet grass. It is fine where I have it. I did swap out the extension cords at least so now I have just the USB cable going out to the camera below the deck.

Why not stick with 1 brand? You're going to have 4 different systems to navigate

Well Wyze doesn't do well exterior so can't do anything there

Does ring have good exterior wireless cameras? Or does Arlo sell doorbell cameras?

I've had 2 Wyze cams outside with zero issues. One in a weather proof case and one just under the eave.

Wyze needs power though, so Arlo has the benefit there.

Arlo does do doorbell cams now.

Doorbell camera with Arlo would have been nice then. Didn't know that

And wasn't aware you could have them outside, thought they were indoor only cameras. Still would want wireless though

I did but wasn't sure how long they were going to hold up for since they aren't intended for outside use. Wyze is currently working on an exterior camera though

Fair enough. I check the wyze subreddit often and haven't seen a single post about someone breaking theirs by having it outside. But you're right, they aren't designed for that.
