In this box is a precut 12x8 shed. Starting it Friday with my poppop.

My neighbor's shed (green) isn't as close to the property line as you can go. It's okay to be 3 feet. He is like 8+? Do I align with him or to 3 feet? It will look weird from his side if I go 3 feet, but oh well?

Going closer to the property line gives you more open yard for a sweet swingset. Screw your neighbor for his dumb placement choice.

I spent another couple hours fiddling with the foundation today. Digging out the highest corner so the lower corners won't be a foot off the ground. Also was able to so some rough leveling to make sure I have all the shovel work done.

I tried leveling some foundation bricks, but that was tough without a tamper, deadblow hammer, and leveling sand. Ive seen Huss Buss level block with just gravel, so I thought I could try that. I mostly got it, but cracked my brick when I tried tapping it down with a 2*4 and hammer.

My dad a tamper and I'll buy a deadblow hammer and sand tomorrow. Should make the rest of the leveling work go pretty quickly.

Had to build all the walls in the garage this morning since it was raining. Stopped after lunch and we were able to raise them, get the roof up, and hang the door. Shingles and painting will be for a different time.

Evie when she saw it "a farm?!? Thank you Daddy! Let's get animals"

We went to the zoo yesterday and I think Evie thought we were going there to pick out farm animals.

I was very impressed with the kit as a whole. Everything was precut, and we only had to make a few minor modifications. It was cool to put things together in the garage and everything magically fit perfect outside. Kyle would have judged me a lot for the thickness of the walls, but this will be perfect for us while we still live in the house.

The project that never ends. Did some more painting this morning but ran out of paint. Need to hit 2 more sides and then do the trim by hand
