Not sure if you have access to Consumer Reports but the LG WM3500CW seems like the best way to go. It has the same ratings as washers that cost nearly double what it costs.

Awesome. Thanks for that. That's on sale and I get the 10% off. I didn't notice that earlier. Has WiFi too!

Ejhartman wins. I'm tired of researching. Will order this today in store

That's one step up from the ones we have. Ours can function with the LG app which obviously blows. Otherwise very nice units

Karma! I got a better deal than I should have at Best Buy and now my washer at my house is broken. It is included with the house when we sell in a month so I need to fix or replace. Taking it apart tomorrow.

$170 to fix the sock stuck in the pump and broken agitator on the 19 year old washer we are leaving with the house. I was okay with playing that.

Visited new house again today and the realtor told us the seller was willing to leave the washer/dryer but they think the washer leaks. So kind! Really they want out of finding a new home for it. I said we have already ordered and paid for a new set so their old (and still pretty new) ones cant be there

I never gave an update on the LG

They are nice. Washing takes longer, but clothes come out cleaner and it uses way less water. Nice to get notifications on the phone when a cycle is complete because i can't hear the chime from the basement. The other day I turned off the dryer from in bed because the nosie was keeping me awake.

I read using vinegar as a fabric softener helps the clothes and keeps the front loader smelling fresh and free of bacteria. I'm going to start doing that. I've never used any form of fabric softener before
