Get emailed scans of what is in your mailbox. I know Corey has it. I signed up for it with the new house but I think I am going to turn it off. It's just another spam email to me. I've learned I really don't care to check the email, I would rather just check the mailbox every day.

I've had this for nearly 3 years now. It helps me decide whether I need to check the mail or not. If I don't get the email then I assume there's nothing worthy in my mail for the day.

Thata fair. Do you open the email or just look to see if you have one and then go to the mailbox?

This is all I use mine for as well. If it is just junk, I'll wait until there is something worthwhile to go to the mailbox for.

I've been using it a while also. I almost never check the emails though because we never get anything important.

FINE! You guys might have talked me into it, but I guess I don't have a problem wasting 15 seconds of my day to get junk mail out of the box.

I'll modify my "unsubscribe"/junk rule so the email doesn't get buried everyday and maybe I'll start looking at it more.

I open the email to see what's coming in the mail. If something interesting is in there, I'll check the mailbox. If not, I wait until something interesting shows up in the email. It works for packages too.

Not that big of a deal. It's a community box and requires a key but it's only 1 house away from us. It's just nice to not have to worry about it until we know there's something worth getting. Most of the time it's just ads and stuff we put directly into the recycling bin.

Lol. That's what I thought too.

We have a community mailbox too now so it's not we easy as checking a mailbox at the end of the driveway, but it's also only 30 seconds to walk down a few houses and check the box now

Yeah, ours is right across the street in a cluster of 4 mailboxes. I usually just pull the car over when I get home from work and check if there's anything there.
