Anyone else getting major flooding right now? Never seen the rivers so high here. Roads closed all over town

Ground frozen yet, shit ton of snow on the ground yet, and we got 2 inches of rain yesterday and now its snowing

A lot of our rivers around Ames are really full. A bunch of snow melted due to rain and warm weather the past few days. I'm sure we'll see flooding and water in basements in the next few days.

Be safe! I work with a lot of people from Sioux Falls daily, I'm surprised they haven't said anything about this.

I'm surprised too. Major roadways are closed here and causing some big issues

I saw a pretty crazy video of Falls Park in Sioux Falls. Looks like whitewater rapids.
Nothing catastrophic here but it is a mess in the yard. I know a few people who are dealing with water in the basement issues, but nothing too bad.

Also, I have family in Nebraska, it looks like they're having some flooding issues as well.

Glad to hear Jayson

No water in basement here either. Just a lake in the corner of my backyard. The water is being blocked by the neighbors fence. Ground is frozen and the fence is tight against the ground. What do you think I could do to let this flow?

drill some holes in your fence to let it flow into your neighbor's yard.

Sounds like it's the neighbor's fence that is blocking it, in which case forget the hole drilling and just start chopping with an ax.
